Lien Phuong Road opens to traffic, increasing connectivity and reshaping traffic in the East of Ho Chi Minh City

On the same day, the walking program "Joining hands to build a green - civilized - modern - affectionate Binh Trung ward" with the participation of nearly 5,000 people also took place at The Global City urban area, with the participation of City leaders, Binh Trung ward leaders, and many media and press agencies. The activity aims to contribute to connecting the community, spreading the spirit of sharing, and at the same time promoting the building of a civilized urban lifestyle, protecting the environment and improving the quality of life of the people.

Lien Phuong Road (Binh Trung Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) has a starting point intersecting with The Global City project and an end point connecting to Mai Chi Tho - Vo Nguyen Giap Avenue, including access roads and bridges over Muong Kinh canal, connecting traffic directly to Rach Chiec National Sports Complex. The project has a total length of about 660m, a design speed of 60km/h, and a road width of 60m.

With the role of inter-regional connection, the 6.7km long Lien Phuong route, connecting from Nguyen Duy Trinh, runs through The Global City, helping to restructure the traffic problem of the eastern gateway. The new route significantly shortens the distance from Lien Phuong - Do Xuan Hop intersection to Cat Lai intersection, while reducing pressure on An Phu intersection - the largest intersection in Ho Chi Minh City.

When the Lien Phuong route is put into operation, residents of Thao Dien area, An Khanh ward will only take about 5 minutes to travel to The Global City, and 10 minutes from Thu Thiem or the center of Ben Thanh ward. Along with the "billion dollar" infrastructure being synchronously deployed, this project will promote commercial circulation at The Global City and create a strong boost for the real estate market in the East of Ho Chi Minh City.

The event is of great significance in completing the infrastructure of the Eastern region, contributing to solving traffic problems for people.
