Technical opening of the bridge connecting Dong Nai with Ho Chi Minh City

This is the result of 60 days and nights of competition to speed up the progress to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). The completion of the technical traffic opening of Nhon Trach Bridge is an important basis to ensure the completion of the entire Component Project 1A by June 30, 2025, shortening the progress by 3 months compared to the contract.

Currently, contractors are increasing the number of construction workers, working "3 shifts, 4 shifts", "through holidays, Tet, and days off" to strive to further shorten the project completion time. The total construction output of the entire project has now reached 96% of the signed contract value.

Component project 1A is over 8km long, of which the section passing through the province is about 6.3km long, the starting point of the project is at the intersection with Provincial Road 25B (Nhon Trach district), the end point is at the intersection with Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway (Thu Duc city, Ho Chi Minh City). The project has a total investment of nearly 7 trillion VND. The project has 2 main construction packages including: CW1 to build Nhon Trach bridge and CW2 to build the approach roads at both ends of the bridge, over 5.6km long.

Of which, Nhon Trach Bridge is 2.6km long, with 4 lanes for motor vehicles and 2 lanes for mixed vehicles, and is the largest bridge on the entire Ring Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City. Nhon Trach Bridge has a total investment of more than 1.6 trillion VND.
