Thank you letter from the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day (September 7, 1945 / September 7, 2025) and receiving the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces from the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA), on September 9, General Nguyen Tan Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Deputy Minister of National Defense sent a letter of thanks to agencies and units. Under the direct leadership and guidance of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, and with the coordination of agencies and units inside and outside the Army, Party committees, governments, and people of the localities, the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army successfully organized many activities to commemorate the 80th anniversary of its founding, creating a widespread impact on the glorious traditions of the heroic General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army. In particular, at the commemoration ceremony, the General Staff was honored to welcome Comrade To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Secretary of the Central Military Commission, who attended, directed, and encouraged generations of officers, staff, soldiers, and workers of the General Staff.

The Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the General Staff - Ministry of National Defense , and the Chief of the General Staff, respectfully express their gratitude for the deep affection and concern of the leaders of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central Military Commission, Ministry of National Defense; leaders of central committees, ministries, branches, and organizations; Party committees and governments of localities; leaders and commanders of agencies and units; distinguished guests and compatriots and soldiers nationwide. The valuable sentiments of the leaders and distinguished guests are a great source of encouragement and motivation for the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army to successfully organize the activities and the ceremony commemorating the 80th anniversary of its founding and the awarding of the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces.

Looking ahead, the General Staff respectfully hopes to continue receiving the attention and assistance of the leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central Military Commission, Ministry of National Defense; central committees, ministries, branches, and organizations; local Party committees and governments; and the people nationwide; as well as agencies and units inside and outside the Army, so that the General Staff can continue to successfully fulfill its functions and tasks as the strategic advisory body of the Party and State on military and national defense matters; the highest command body of the Vietnam People's Army and the Vietnam Militia and Self-Defense Forces; contributing to the firm protection of the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam in all situations; and together with the entire Party, people, and army, steadily advancing into a new era of the nation.
