At the meeting, Deputy Minister Ngo Le Van highly appreciated the delegation's visit to exchange and work with the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs right on the occasion of the Vietnam-China Humanitarian Exchange Year, commemorating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries; emphasizing that this is an opportunity for the two sides to deepen mutual understanding, enhance the sharing of theoretical and practical experiences in planning and building foreign policies and guidelines, as well as discuss issues of mutual concern.
The two sides expressed their delight at the positive, comprehensive and substantive developments in the relations between the two Parties and the two countries in recent times; especially appreciated the State visit to Vietnam in April 2025 by General Secretary andPresident Xi Jinping, which was a great success, with extremely rich and outstanding results, of long-term strategic significance for the development of Vietnam-China relations in the context that the two countries are entering a new era of development.
Mr. Do Khoi Van, Head of the Chinese Foreign Policy Advisory Committee, introduced the main content of the Central Conference of the Communist Party of China on Neighboring Work (April 2025); emphasizing the consistent viewpoint of the Chinese Party and State on always considering Vietnam as a priority direction in its neighborly diplomacy policy.
At the meeting, the two sides agreed to continue to increase exchanges and share experiences in foreign affairs, especially in building a comprehensive and modern diplomacy with each country's own identity. |
Deputy Minister Ngo Le Van affirmed that the Party and State of Vietnam always attach importance to and give top priority to developing Vietnam-China relations, and are ready to work with the Party and State of China to deepen the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership and promote the building of a Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future of strategic significance.
On this occasion, Deputy Minister Ngo Le Van introduced the recent socio-economic development situation of Vietnam, the important achievements in implementing innovation, reorganizing the apparatus of the political system, as well as the priority orientation to synchronously perfect the development institutions, mechanisms, policies and laws of Vietnam as shown through the Politburo's resolutions on the "four pillars".
The two sides agreed to continue to enhance exchanges and learn from each other's experiences in foreign affairs, especially in building a comprehensive and modern diplomacy with each country's own identity; share experiences in handling regional and global issues, as well as ways to respond to non-traditional security challenges in the new situation.
