On May 19, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision 529/QD-TTg appointing Major General Nguyen Van Hien, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Air Defense - Air Force, to hold the position of Commander of the Air Defense - Air Force, Ministry of National Defense .
Major General Nguyen Van Hien was born in 1967, hometown Vu Thu district, Thai Binh province.
Major General Nguyen Van Hien has held the following positions: Commander of the 365th Air Defense Division, Air Defense - Air Force; Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Air Defense - Air Force.
