Prime Minister approves chairmen of Thanh Hoa and Khanh Hoa provinces

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed decisions approving the election results for the positions of Chairman of the People's Committees of Khanh Hoa and Thanh Hoa provinces for the 2021-2026 term.

Specifically, in Decision No. 2119, the Prime Minister approved the election results for the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, for the 2020-2025 term.

Previously, at the 33rd session, the 18th People's Council of Thanh Hoa province, term XVIII, held on the afternoon of September 17, conducted the process of electing the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province, term XVIII, term 2021 - 2026.

Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province for the 2021 - 2026 term, with 100% of the votes.

Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh takes over the position of Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, replacing Mr. Do Minh Tuan, who was allowed to retire early by the Central Government.

Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh, 48 years old, hometown Dien Hoa commune, Dien Ban district, former Quang Nam province, now Da Nang city, has professional qualifications of master of public administration management, architect, bachelor of English, senior political theory.

From 2005 to 2020, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh held the positions of: Deputy Secretary of Binh Thuan Provincial Youth Union; Secretary of Binh Thuan Provincial Youth Union, Member of the Central Youth Union Standing Committee, Provincial Party Committee member; Secretary of Tuy Phong District Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Council.

Since October 2020, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh has held the positions of: Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Chairman of the People's Council of Binh Thuan Province; Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Binh Thuan Province; Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Binh Thuan Province; Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee.

From September 12, 2025, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh holds the position of Deputy Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee.

Also according to Decision No. 2112, the Prime Minister approved the election results for the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province, term 2021-2026 for Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025.

Previously, at the meeting of the 7th term of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, held on the afternoon of September 16, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan - Standing Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee - was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the term 2021 - 2026.

Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan takes over the position of Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, replacing Mr. Tran Quoc Nam who has submitted his resignation.

Mr. Toan was born in 1970, his hometown is Khanh Hoa province, he has a bachelor's degree in judicial law, bachelor's degree in Party building and State administration.

In February 2020, Mr. Toan was elected Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

In October 2020, he was re-elected as Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Then, also during this term, Mr. Toan held the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Khanh Hoa province.

After merging Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan provinces on July 1, 2025, Mr. Toan will continue to hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Khanh Hoa province.

Accordingly, these decisions take effect from the date of signing and promulgation, September 22.
