Promoting cooperation between tourism businesses in Quang Ninh and China

On December 9, in Ha Long City, the Department of Tourism organized a cooperation program between tourism enterprises of Quang Ninh (Vietnam) and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China).

The program is the result of a strong connection and promotion process between Quang Ninh province (Vietnam) and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China), thereby concretizing the signed cooperation between Quang Ninh Department of Tourism and Guangxi Department of Culture and Tourism. Attending were about 40 associations, enterprises of China and some tourism business units of Quang Ninh province.

In order for tourism cooperation between Quang Ninh, Vietnam and China in general, including the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, to develop more and more strongly and achieve practical results in the coming time, Chinese enterprises have proposed solutions to make Quang Ninh an indispensable tourist destination in the travel itinerary of Chinese tourists, as well as cooperation between tourism enterprises of Quang Ninh and China, including Guangxi, to become more and more practical and effective.

In particular, Chinese units and enterprises wish to actively connect flights bringing tourists from Guangxi airports to Quang Ninh via Van Don International Airport, as well as continue to maintain the road and sea tourism route Bac Hai - Ha Long. The delegation also wishes to actively cooperate with Quang Ninh enterprises to organize promotional activities and tourism promotion in key tourism markets, expanding the tourism market between the two sides. Through the recent survey program, the two sides will continue to research and develop suitable tourism programs to organize tourists to Quang Ninh, especially the destinations included in the survey program.

Representatives of the Guangxi Tourism Association shared some solutions for tourism development between the two localities.

Previously, the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism organized a famtrip for a Chinese delegation to survey many famous tourist destinations in Mong Cai City, Cam Pha, Ha Long and Van Don and Binh Lieu districts for 3 days, from December 6-8. This is also an opportunity for Quang Ninh to introduce to the Guangxi Tourism Association and Chinese enterprises about the tourism resources of Quang Ninh province through the practical experience of some typical tourist destinations of Quang Ninh province.

Quang Ninh possesses rich and attractive natural and human tourism resources, favorable geographical location, Quang Ninh province has identified tourism as a key economic sector, striving to build Quang Ninh into a tourism center connecting with the region and the world. Through promotional activities with domestic and international famtrip groups, Quang Ninh tourism industry hopes to promote more strongly tourism products, especially new destinations, creating unique and interesting experiences to introduce to tourists.
