Plan No. 218/KH-UBND dated November 21, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee on developing Vietnamese traditional martial arts in Thai Nguyen province in 2025 sets the goal: By the end of 2025, 30% of primary schools, junior high schools, high schools, colleges and universities in the province will have traditional martial arts clubs established and put into operation; 50% of armed forces units will apply traditional martial arts in training; at least 100,000 Thai Nguyen people will participate in training at traditional martial arts clubs and martial arts schools in the province; at the 2025 National Traditional Martial Arts Championship, the Thai Nguyen athletes participating in the tournament will strive to be in the Top 10 among the total participating delegations; develop a system of traditional martial arts training and competition houses; Organize the event "Night of the Stage", bring traditional martial arts performances to tourist destinations, organize domestic and international martial arts events.

Martial artist Hoang Anh Trung contributed many enthusiastic ideas to the Plan to develop Vietnamese traditional martial arts in Thai Nguyen province.
To achieve the goals of the Plan, at the Conference, delegates focused on discussing and contributing ideas to solutions that need to be implemented, such as: Selecting outstanding martial arts students to train to become professional coaches; structuring the activities of the Provincial Martial Arts Federation in a professional and specialized direction to organize tournaments; attracting social resources to accompany the development of traditional martial arts...
Based on the opinions and suggestions at the Conference, the Provincial People's Committee requested relevant departments and branches to focus on synchronously implementing solutions to implement the contents in accordance with the time schedule and achieve high efficiency. The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Information Center to build a Fanpage and Tiktok channel to spread information and promote the traditional martial arts movement; Thai Nguyen Radio and Television Station and Newspaper to create clips, increase the length of news and articles to propagate and promote this activity; the Departmentof Education and Training and Thai Nguyen University to implement martial arts subjects in educational institutions and launch a martial arts practice movement among students in an appropriate form to contribute to promoting the development of Vietnamese traditional martial arts in the province and spreading the martial arts spirit of the tea land.
