Thuduc House continues to be forced to pay nearly 90 billion VND in taxes

Thu Duc House Development Joint Stock Company (Thuduc House, stock code TDH) continues to be forced to pay taxes.

Thu Duc House Development Joint Stock Company (Thuduc House) has just announced information about receiving an administrative decision on tax management by stopping the use of invoices from the Tax Department of Region II.

Accordingly, the company is subject to tax enforcement due to debt over 90 days from the deadline for payment as prescribed, the amount of enforcement is more than 88.9 billion VND. The enforcement time is 11:35 a.m. on April 22, 2025 (applicable to cases where taxpayers use electronic invoices).

Previously, on February 26, Thuduc House also announced information about receiving a decision from the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department (now the Tax Department of Region II) on enforcing administrative decisions on tax management by withdrawing more than VND 90.6 billion from the company's account.

According to the consolidated financial report for the first quarter of 2025, Thuduc House recorded net revenue of nearly VND 8 billion, down 21.2% over the same period last year and after-tax profit of nearly VND 5.5 billion, this figure increased quite sharply when in the first quarter of 2024 it lost nearly VND 1.7 billion. According to the explanation, the reason for the high profit is that the company recorded other income from rearranging payable debts over 10 years.

HOSE has officially put Thuduc House's TDH shares under control since April 9 due to two consecutive years of financial reports from 2023 - 2024 showing losses.

Recently, the company has continuously replaced senior leaders. Most recently, on February 17, the company's Board of Directors (BOD) elected Mr. Tran Thanh Vinh as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the 2020-2025 term. Mr. Tran Thanh Vinh is one of three additional members of the Board of Directors elected for the 2020-2025 term at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders held on February 14, along with Ms. Tran Thi Lien and Mr. Vu Hai Quan.

On the other hand, 3 members of the company's Board of Directors at that time, including Mr. Nguyen Quang Nghia - Chairman of the Board of Directors, Ms. Vo Thi Tuong Vy - member of the Board of Directors and Mr. Hoang Anh Phuc - member of the Board of Directors, simultaneously resigned.
