Standing Committee of Loc Binh District People's Council meets with Standing Committee of Commune and Town People's Council in the first quarter of 2025 - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

- On April 3, the People's Council of Loc Binh district held a meeting between the Standing Committee of the District People's Council and the Standing Committees of the People's Councils of communes and towns in the first quarter and deployed directions and tasks for the second quarter of 2025.

In the first quarter of 2025, the People's Council and agencies of the People's Council of Loc Binh district proactively issued and implemented programs and work plans to direct, operate, and organize the implementation of the activities of the People's Council of the district in 2025 according to assigned tasks and powers; regularly inspect and urge agencies and units to ensure the progress, quality, and effectiveness of the proposed programs and plans. Directed and organized meetings to discuss and decide on issues within their tasks and powers according to the provisions of law and in accordance with the practical situation of the locality. As a result, in the first quarter, the People's Council of the district directed and successfully organized 1 regular session and 2 thematic sessions of the People's Council of the district; deployed 1 thematic supervision plan; directed and organized 3 inspections and 3 thematic supervisions according to the plan. Through inspection and supervision, it has contributed to promoting the implementation of resolutions of the District People's Council on socio -economic development, government building, ensuring national defense and security in the district in order to strive to achieve and exceed the set targets and plans.

For the People's Councils of communes and towns, in the first quarter of 2025, 60 regular meetings were held; 3 inspections and 16 thematic supervisions were organized. Groups of People's Council delegates at the commune level organized 112 meetings with voters, compiled 190 opinions and recommendations from voters and sent them to relevant agencies for study and resolution according to regulations...

At the conference, delegates discussed experiences and solutions to improve the quality and effectiveness of the People's Council's operations; questioning activities at meetings; inspection, supervision and survey activities of the People's Council, People's Council Committees at district and commune levels; grasping the aspirations of cadres, party members and people on the implementation of administrative unit rearrangement; implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses...; proposing solutions to effectively implement programs, plans and key points set out in the resolutions of People's Councils at all levels in 2025.
