On the afternoon of June 12, Comrade Hoang Trung Dung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired a meeting of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee with information, media and press agencies. At the meeting, comrade Hoang Trung Dung acknowledged and assigned responsibility to the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and related departments and branches, to receive and consider handling proposals from media and press agencies on issues related to organizational structure, facilities, means, operational equipment, and operating costs.

Citing the content of Article 4 of the 2016 Press Law, which states that the press must "report truthfully, in accordance with the interests of the country and the people", the Provincial Party Secretary emphasized the responsibility of journalists.

The work must be done properly and fully, daring to confront hot issues to protect justice and truth. In addition to promptly reflecting events, the press must have in-depth articles, analyze and resolve issues decisively.

In addition to creating quality works, journalists need to express their views and opinions on social media platforms. To do that, press agencies must focus on building their teams, and each journalist must innovate and learn to adapt to the development of technology and integration.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Information and Communications to continue promoting the role and function of managing and orienting press information, especially guiding the strict implementation of the speaking regulations and proactively providing information.

Ha Tinh Radio and Television Station and Ha Tinh Newspaper must continue to promote their role as the local key media agencies in leading information and orienting public opinion.

The Provincial Party Secretary affirmed: proactively providing and conveying information plays an important role in propagating policies, encouraging and spreading emulation movements, creating solidarity and unity to successfully carry out the set political tasks./.
