Striker Hai Yen hopes to improve herself after training in Japan

Sharing at the training session on the afternoon of May 23, Hai Yen said that after the 1-4 loss to the German club Werder Bremen, the national women's team players have learned a lot of experience from this strong opponent. The aspects such as defense, attack and coordination to support each other in the match have all improved a lot.

"Personally, I feel that we need to improve more after each friendly match, how to play better. Up to this point, we have only gone through more than 2 weeks of training, and in the friendly matches, each individual player learns from their own experience to improve. We are training physically and will improve further in the coming time. Besides, every time the Vietnamese women's team gathers, they are supported the best by the Vietnam Football Federation and leaders at all levels, so they are very confident in training" - Hai Yen expressed.

During this time, every player in the team always tries their best with the goal of the whole team having the best results in competition.

"We have been informed by the coaching staff about the upcoming training trip to Japan. The players have prepared mentally and the coaching staff has prepared their physical skills. I hope the whole team will be in the best condition for the upcoming training session. I hope we can learn more from the Japanese players, improve and develop ourselves further" - Hai Yen shared.

Vietnam women's team prepares for training trip in Japan

Next week, the Vietnamese women's team will have three more domestic friendly matches against Dao Ha Football Center (May 26, Hung Yen); Bac Ninh Veterans (May 28, Vietnam Youth Football Center) and Son Tay Youth Team (May 31, Son Tay).

In which, the team will have full force with members of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club returning home, Coach Mai Duc Chung will have the strongest squad for two more friendly matches in Bac Ninh and Son Tay.

After this series of friendly matches, the team is expected to have a training trip in Japan from June 8 to 18.
