Received 31 billion VND to support people affected by storms and floods through the Hanoi City Fatherland Front

Responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, in recent days, many organizations and individuals have come to the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Hanoi to support and assist people in localities affected by storms and floods.

From October 20 to the afternoon of October 22, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city received nearly 5 billion VND, bringing the total amount received to nearly 31 billion VND. This demonstrates the sense of responsibility and sharing of collectives and individuals with the community, society and people who have been severely affected by natural disasters and floods in recent times.

Presenting the donation to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, comrade Nguyen Ngoc Viet, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Dong Da ward, said that this is the sentiment, responsibility, and sincere sharing of the cadres and people of Dong Da ward sent to the people in the affected area.

Receiving the donation, the representative of the leadership of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi city expressed his thanks to the officials and people of Dong Da ward, Chuong My commune, Yen Xuan commune, Phu Nghia commune... as well as the sincere feelings of other organizations, units and individuals who sent their condolences to people affected by natural disasters and floods.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city commits that all the money received will continue to be distributed to the beneficiaries. At the same time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels of the city will continue to coordinate with the government to deploy the support sources in accordance with regulations, to the right subjects, most effectively and transparently, contributing to helping people affected by natural disasters and storms and floods to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
