On February 19, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of Viet Tri City coordinated with the Provincial Political School and the Provincial General Hospital to organize the 2025 Red Spring Festival with the message "Spring Blood Donation - Multiplying Happiness".

The first voluntary blood donation program in 2025 attracted more than 450 volunteers who are officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers in wards and communes in the city. Before donating blood, volunteers were screened, had their blood tested, had their blood pressure measured, and had their health checked according to the correct procedure.
At the end of the 2025 Spring Festival, the Organizing Committee received 544 units of safe, quality blood, contributing to ensuring blood supply for timely emergency and treatment for patients with anemia and blood diseases.
