Meeting with voters in Ta Rut and Tan Hop communes: Voters want to build a special mechanism to create breakthrough development for rural mountainous areas

Today, July 4, the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Tri province, including: Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Tri province Hoang Duc Thang; Deputy Head of the Provincial Ethnic Committee Ho Thi Minh continued to meet voters in Ta Rut commune, Dakrong district and Tan Hop commune, Huong Hoa district.

At the voter contact points, after listening to the provincial National Assembly deputies report on the results of the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly, voters in the localities highly appreciated the activities of the National Assembly in recent times, including the Quang Tri Provincial National Assembly Delegation. At the same time, they made recommendations on a number of economic and social issues related to central and local ministries, branches.

Voters in Ta Rut and Tan Hop communes hope that central ministries and branches will build a special mechanism to create a breakthrough in socio-economic development, national defense and security, and change the appearance and life of rural mountainous areas. In addition, it is necessary to pay attention to and speed up the progress of housing support for poor households. It is recommended that the Government, ministries and branches pay attention to investing in upgrading and expanding National Highway 9 to both promote socio-economic development and ensure traffic safety and urbanization.

Regarding the authority of departments, branches and localities, voters recommend that it is necessary to pay attention to investing in a centralized water filtration system to serve the daily needs of people in highland areas, limiting the risk of diseases due to unsanitary water sources; there should be a plan to handle the situation of coal trucks causing environmental pollution; review inappropriate planning to create conditions for people to change land use purposes; soon have a plan to manage and use infrastructure in the area of Tan Hop Joint Control Station (old) to avoid waste, ensure environmental sanitation and consider giving priority to localities to solve the need to use infrastructure here to arrange rooms and offices.

Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Hoang Duc Thang and local leaders received, discussed and explained a number of issues of concern to voters. Regarding the contents of voters' opinions under the authority of the National Assembly and central ministries and branches, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation will study and forward them to relevant authorities for consideration and resolution in the coming time.
