According to information from the Quang Tri Provincial Department of Justice, the 20-day intensive campaign to complete the digitization of civil registration data in Quang Tri province was completed on March 15, 2025, 5 days ahead of schedule. This saved the provincial budget more than 6 billion VND compared to the estimated cost of the second phase of civil registration data digitization.
Accordingly, the total number of digitized data during the 20-day peak period was 241,501 (230,425 data were transferred to the database, and 11,076 duplicate data could not be transferred). The total number of digitized data in phase 1 was 542,430 (514,306 data were transferred, and 28,124 duplicate data could not be transferred).
Thus, the total number of digitized data in both phases is 783,931, of which 744,731 data (95%) have been transferred to the Ministry of Justice 's electronic civil registry database, and 39,200 duplicate data could not be transferred (5%).
To achieve these results, in addition to the attention and guidance of the Provincial People's Committee, the efforts of local authorities, and the responsible work ethic of the data entry team, there was also the active and responsible support of agencies, units, and individuals from the central to local levels, which helped Quang Tri complete a large volume of work and finish ahead of schedule.
It is known that, throughout the peak period of implementation, the role of supporting forces such as teachers, police, border guards, youth union members, and experts invited to participate in digitizing civil registration data was crucial in supporting the judicial sector and localities. The total number of personnel involved in data entry was 1,762.
