According to The Guardian, it is unclear why Woods, who is usually private about his personal life, decided to publicly post photos of his relationship on social media. This move recalls the event in 2013, when he and skier Lindsey Vonn announced online that they were dating to limit media surveillance.
Woods said at the time that releasing the photos would help protect his children from dangerous situations and devalue the images captured by the media.
Vanessa Trump was married to Donald Trump Jr, son of Donald Trump, from 2005 to 2018. They have five children together.
Among Vanessa Trump's children, Kai, 17, is expected to join the University of Miami golf team in 2026. Kai attends the same school as Woods' two children, Sam and Charlie. Kai and Charlie participated in a friendly golf tournament last week.
Meanwhile, Woods had two children with Swedish supermodel Elin Nordegren, before the couple divorced in 2010, after Woods' cheating scandal was exposed.
Woods continued his public relationship with Erica Herman for about seven years, which ended in legal turmoil in October 2022. Herman filed a lawsuit against Woods and the trust that owns Woods' mansion in South Florida (USA).
Woods has played golf with Donald Trump many times. In 2019, Trump awarded Woods the Presidential Medal of Freedom. In February, Woods attended a meeting with Trump at the White House to discuss the polarization of golf in the wake of the rise of the Saudi-sponsored LIV tournament.
