Benzema overshadows Ronaldo, Al Ittihad eliminates Al Nassr from King's Cup

Al Ittihad won 2-1 against Al Nassr thanks to goals from Benzema and Aouar, eliminating Ronaldo and his teammates from the 1/8 round of the King's Cup Saudi Arabia.

The 1/8 round match of King's Cup Saudi Arabia 2025 between Al Nassr and Al Ittihad took place dramatically at Al-Awwal Park.

In the 30th minute, Al Nassr found an equalizer, from Ronaldo's cross from the left wing, the opposing defender failed to clear the ball and let Angelo Gabriel finish into the top of the net.

However, before the first half ended, Al Ittihad took a 2-1 lead when Houssem Aouar penetrated and placed a far corner shot past goalkeeper Bento.

At the start of the second half, Al Nassr had an extra man when Al Ittihad's Ahmed Al-Julaydan was sent off for a rough foul on Yahya. However, Ronaldo's team was still unable to find an equalizer.

Al Nassr's relentless attack could not penetrate Al Ittihad's tight defense, and the visitors cruised to a place in the quarter-finals.
