Arsenal draw with Liverpool despite being 2 goals down

In round 36 of the Premier League, Liverpool and Arsenal played an exciting and dramatic match. Although they no longer had a goal after winning the championship early, Liverpool still played with determination.

In the first half, they showed more experience in knowing how to punish their opponents. Taking advantage of Arsenal's increasing impatience, Liverpool scored two consecutive goals in the 20th and 21st minutes.

In the 70th minute, Mikel Merino easily headed in after Martin Odegaard's shot bounced off the post. However, just a few minutes later, Merino had to leave the field due to receiving a second yellow card and will miss the important match against Newcastle next round.

With 1 point from this match, Arsenal has 68 points but is not safe in the top 5 as it is only 5 points ahead of 6th place Aston Villa with two more rounds left.

In the match that followed, the top team Napoli surprisingly let Genoa hold them to a 2-2 draw. Lukaku opened the scoring for Napoli in the 15th minute. In the 32nd minute, the match returned to the starting line when goalkeeper Meret fumbled the ball into his own net after Ahanor's header.

In the second half, Napoli took the lead again when Raspadori increased the score in the 64th minute. But then this advantage disappeared when Johan Vazquez headed the ball to make it 2-2 in the 84th minute.

With these results, Napoli is only 1 point ahead of Inter Milan (78 and 77), making the Serie A championship race continue to be exciting.
