Provincial Youth Union holds traditional activities to celebrate 50 years of national reunification

BHG - On the afternoon of April 15, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the Provincial Youth Union organized a Thematic Activity program through the movie "Tunnels: The Sun in the Dark". Attending were comrades, civil servants, and officials of professional departments and units under the Provincial Youth Union and 95 union members and youth (YU) from units and schools in the city.

Speaking at the program, Comrade Hoang The Hanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, shared: “Watching the film “Tunnels” is not only an opportunity to promote and review the heroic historical traditions of the nation, but also a creative and effective form of political and ideological education, suitable for the reception needs of today’s youth. Thereby, promoting the role of youth to build a strong homeland and country”.

The event not only helped the Youth Union members approach history in a lively and engaging way, but also taught them about will and courage, aroused their love for their homeland, nurtured their sense of responsibility and dedication to the community. Through the event, the Youth Union members expressed their deep emotions and gratitude for the contributions and selfless sacrifices of their predecessors to protect independence, freedom, unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
