This week, Google AI Overviews will begin rolling out to more than 100 countries, including Vietnam, and support Vietnamese.
Google's AI-powered search summary feature will be available in Vietnam and support Vietnamese this week. Google also said that AI Overviews is deployed in more than 100 countries after launching in the US. It is noted that Vietnamese users cannot experience this feature yet because Google has not granted permission. According to The Verge , AI is identified as a key pillar of Google, with new features such as a custom AI chatbot powered by Gemini (called "Gems"), automatic AI annotation on Google Meet, and a series of AI tools that can support YouTube creators.

In a blog post on October 28, Google announced that the AI Overviews feature has expanded to more than 100 countries after an initial launch in the US.
Google's AI Overviews will help search and synthesize information more fully and accurately using artificial intelligence technology.
In early October, Google began showing ads in AI Overviews on mobile, but only in the US. Meanwhile, for other locations, the company said ads will continue to appear on the search page instead of directly in AI Overviews. Previously, Google released AI Overviews in the US in May before expanding the feature to the UK, India, Japan, Indonesia, Mexico, and Brazil in August this year. According to Google, with this latest expansion, AI Overviews will reach more than 1 billion global users every month. It is known that AI Overviews helps users find necessary information and explore related websites on Google using generative AI technology. In addition, Google's new AI Overviews feature also helps synthesize information, giving the fastest and most accurate results. However, Google still emphasizes that this technology is still in development, so it can provide inaccurate information or cause discomfort to users while using it. In case of encountering such feedback, Google suggests users report it to help improve AI Overviews./.
