Organize voting for typical rural industrial products of Ha Tinh before June 30

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a plan to organize the selection of typical rural industrial products at the provincial level in 2025. This is an activity that takes place every two years to discover and honor products with high quality, high use value, potential for production development, and market expansion. At the same time, it encourages and motivates enterprises and rural industrial establishments to be more active in technological innovation, application of advanced equipment and machinery, investment in product development and as a basis for selecting typical rural industrial products to participate at the regional and national levels.

The voting activity for typical rural industrial products aims to honor products with quality and development potential.

According to the plan, the Provincial People's Committee requested the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to guide enterprises, cooperatives and production establishments with rural industrial products to complete documents, procedures and compile documents to send to the Department of Industry and Trade before May 25, 2025.

The Department of Industry and Trade shall compile and complete all documents related to the voting and preliminary evaluation of the documents of the products participating in the voting before June 10, 2025. The organization of the voting for typical rural industrial products at the provincial level shall take place before June 30, 2025.

The selection of products must comply with regulations, be objective, and be based on the principle of voluntary participation of the establishments. Products participating in the vote must be produced by establishments in the area, not violating regulations on intellectual property rights, industrial property rights, and other regulations related to standards, technical regulations, regulations on quality, labor safety and hygiene, food safety, and environmental protection.

Tam Thien Huong Agarwood ( Ha Tinh City) is recognized as a typical rural industrial product at the provincial level (2023).

The number of products and the number of enterprises, cooperatives and production facilities participating in the vote are not limited; each district, town and city is encouraged to select at least 7 products from at least 5 enterprises, cooperatives and production facilities to participate in the vote.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Industry and Trade as the standing agency to organize the implementation of the plan to select typical rural industrial products at the provincial level in 2025; to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and localities to implement the plan to ensure effectiveness and practicality.
