Organizing the 2nd Business Dialogue Conference, 2023

Participating in the dialogue, businesses discussed and made recommendations to the Provincial People's Committee on a number of issues such as: Mr. Tran Viet Dung, Deputy General Director of Crystal Bay Group Joint Stock Company, proposed that Khanh Hoa authorities thoroughly and legally resolve the issue of adjusting Nha Trang's master plan with a vision to 2040. According to Mr. Dung, the plan that the province is submitting to the Central agency risks affecting dozens of projects in the area.

Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoa Nam chaired the conference.

According to the new planning, there is a risk of eliminating 4 projects of Crystal Bay Group in which the enterprise has invested about 600 billion VND in the past 10 years. "We recommend that Khanh Hoa province consider the continuity, consistency and inheritance of Nha Trang planning in the overall national planning according to Article 4 of the 2017 Planning Law to not only ensure a healthy investment environment for Khanh Hoa but also ensure the legitimate rights and interests of enterprises," Mr. Dung added./.

In the case of Mr. Huynh Ngoc Diep, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director of 584 Nha Trang Seafood Joint Stock Company, he proposed that the leaders of Khanh Hoa province consider the intention to plan a fish sauce craft village because the local fish sauce craft village is at risk of being "erased". Currently, large fish sauce enterprises in the area have relocated their facilities from Khanh Hoa, and the unit itself has a production facility in another locality. Therefore, the enterprise wishes to know more about the planning of the fish sauce craft village to consider the option of relocating the production facility with a production scale of 15,000 tons/fish sauce/year...

In addition, businesses recommended that the Provincial People's Committee create favorable conditions in policies to support land lease, grant land use right certificates, and grant construction permits for projects affected by planning adjustments; provide guidance on procedures and documents for granting certificates of ownership of tourist apartments, etc.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan praised and highly appreciated the sharing and companionship of businesses in overcoming difficulties, contributing to the success in the construction and economic development of Khanh Hoa province. The Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches and sectors to receive, consider and promptly resolve the recommendations of businesses and investors. Propose solutions and policies to support businesses in overcoming difficulties, recovering and developing production and business. Strictly handle cases of officials and heads of agencies and units causing harassment and trouble for businesses...

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that in the coming time, the provincial leaders will focus on directing the improvement of the investment and business environment with the goal of common development of the province and the country.

In particular, promptly submit to competent authorities for approval important plans such as: Adjustment of Nha Trang City Master Plan to 2040; Cam Lam New Urban Master Plan to 2045; Provincial land use plan for the period 2021 - 2025, urban plans, zoning plans, district plans, etc. to serve as a basis for management and investment attraction.
