Organizing thematic exhibition: 'Thai Nguyen - Wartime memories'

Practically celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); 139 years of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2025); 71 years of the historic Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2025); 135 years of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025); to continue to promote the value and historical significance, and the stature of the two resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism; Affirming that the correct and wise leadership of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh is the decisive factor in the great victory of the nation, liberating the South and unifying the country, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigned the Thai Nguyen Provincial Museum to organize the exhibition: "Thai Nguyen - Memories of wartime".

With over 150 images, documents, artifacts, and war relics on display, the Exhibition aims to introduce and vividly depict a resilient and heroic Thai Nguyen in the two long-term resistance wars of the nation: The great contributions of the army and people of Thai Nguyen in the two resistance wars; the task of absolutely protecting the safety of the Viet Bac base center - the resistance capital of the whole country, where President Ho Chi Minh and the leaders of the Party, State, and the resistance headquarters lived and worked during the 9 years of the long-term resistance war (1946 - 1954).

During the resistance war against the US to save the country (1954-1975), under the leadership of the Party, the army and people of Thai Nguyen province both worked and fought, fulfilling the role of a solid rear base, providing human and material resources for the southern front.

In addition, the Exhibition also introduces to the public images of activities and achievements of Thai Nguyen province during the period of innovation, integration and development, cultural works, historical relics, urban architectural works of Thai Nguyen province that were reconstructed and restored after the war and cultural heritages and beautiful natural landscapes of Thai Nguyen.

The exhibition content includes 3 main topics:

Thai Nguyen - The mark of 9 years of long resistance war.

Thai Nguyen - A solid rear for the beloved South.

Thai Nguyen today.

The exhibition will open at 8:00 a.m. on April 25, 2025; displayed to serve the people and tourists from April 25 to May 25 at Tan Cuong Tea Cultural Space, Tan Cuong Commune, Thai Nguyen City.
