The working group serving the 25th Vietnam - China International Trade Fair (Lao Cai) in 2025 met to review preparations for the Fair.

Attending the meeting were leaders of departments and branches: Finance, Industry and Trade, Foreign Affairs, Economic Zone Management Board, Culture, Sports and Tourism, Provincial Police, Provincial Border Guard Command, Customs Branch of Region VII, Market Management Branch; Heads of Working Groups serving the Fair; leaders of Lao Cai Ward People's Committee, Lao Cai Electricity Company, Provincial Urban Environment Joint Stock Company.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Sinh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting to review the preparation work for the Fair.

The Vietnam-China Fair is expected to open at 9:00 a.m. on November 20, 2025 , and will take place from November 19, 2025 to November 24, 2025 at Kim Thanh Fair - Exhibition Center, Lao Cai ward, Lao Cai province. Including 700 booths, including 500 standard booths and about 4,000 m2 of exhibition area (including: special exhibition area exhibited in prefabricated house, car exhibition area, culinary area...).

The leaders of the Department of Finance reported on the preparation work for the Fair.

According to the report of the Department of Finance, up to now, the registration of 313/313 booths of 153 registered units has been completed , 04 car companies in the area have registered to participate in 9 booths, and have worked basically with the units in charge of Lao Cai Exhibition Area - Center for connecting trade between Vietnam, ASEAN and the Southwest Region, China, Exhibition Area of Achievements of Socio-Economic Development of Lao Cai Province, Exhibition Area of Lao Cai and Yunnan - Connection and Development, Food Court.

Up to now, the site has been handed over to the Standing Committee of the Fair on the Chinese side. For the Special Pavilion, the Chinese side will carry out construction from November 16, 2025 to November 18, 2025; Standard Pavilion (200 booths) . Up to now, 183 lists of goods from China, third countries and territories participating in the Fair have been received. The construction units have implemented the Consulting Contract according to the set schedule.

Delegates listen to decoration and display plans at the Fair.

At the meeting, delegates reported and quickly informed about the construction progress of the Fair items; the work of advising on scripts for contents related to the sidelines of the Fair; the work of inviting delegates, logistics to prepare the Fair , and the activities on the sidelines of the Fair were also carefully and thoroughly prepared with plans , ensuring safety, security and order, ensuring fire prevention and fighting, ensuring power supply during the Fair...

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Sinh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested relevant sectors and localities to urgently complete the work content to ensure the progress of the fair organization, detailed script of the Fair (Program, script, speeches, videos), script of the Fair opening (MC, Introduction, content of speeches, reception, button pressing plan, moving to visit the Fair), assigning review, confirmation, welcoming guests, other plans: Security and order, fire prevention and fighting, Environmental sanitation. Agree on November 18 to rehearse the opening performance program of the Fair. Finalize the list on November 19, make a list of VIP guests to visit the booths, the Department of Finance will send people to introduce the booths. The police will arrange a plan to lead the delegation, a plan to move after the opening, and divide the flow...

Regarding goods, comrade Nguyen Thanh Sinh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the relevant agencies to do a good job of checking the list of goods, accompanying publications to promote products, list of goods, entrants, and coordination between the Economic Committee and relevant agencies./.
