Panorama of the most modern 120 billion VND bus station in Hanoi after 6 months of construction

Yen So Bus Station project has a capacity of 800-1,000 vehicles/day, equipped with modern automation technology, and is expected to be completed in 2026.

In February 2025, the Hanoi People's Committee issued Decision No. 1096 to lease 27,577.3 m² of land in Yen So ward to Thanh Tri Bus Station Joint Stock Company to implement the Yen So Bus Station Project. The land lease term lasts until December 30, 2066.

The Yen So Bus Station project has a total investment of nearly 120 billion VND, and was started in the first quarter of 2025. The project has a construction area of ​​3,445 m², a total floor area of ​​14,534 m², and a building height of 19.2 m. This is a key traffic project, expected to contribute to reducing the load on Giap Bat Bus Station and meeting the increasing travel needs of the capital's residents.

After 6 months of construction, the bus station project is gradually taking shape, and auxiliary items are also being urgently completed.

The project consists of 4 floors (3 above ground floors, 1 basement), of which the basement has an area of ​​5,000 m² used as a parking garage for passengers.

Standing out in the center of the bus station is a 2,000 m² circular building, in which the first floor is used for ticket sales and showrooms, while the second floor is used for fast food business, serving passengers.

According to the plan, Yen So Bus Station has a designed capacity of 800-1,000 buses/day, meeting the large travel needs of people in the southern area of ​​the capital.

Yen So bus station is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2026.

The project is located on Ring Road 3 - the capital's main traffic route, about 2 km from Nuoc Ngam Bus Station and about 5 km from Giap Bat Bus Station, creating favorable conditions for connecting and transferring passengers.

Currently, at the project site, many machines and workers are being mobilized to work urgently, speeding up the construction progress of the main items.

When completed, Yen So Bus Station will be one of Hanoi's modern bus stations and become the 7th bus station in the capital, contributing to the completion of the urban transport infrastructure network.
