Honoring many outstanding families and individuals who donate blood

According to the City's Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation, in 2024, the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation at all levels did a good job of motivating, honoring, and rewarding the voluntary blood donation movement as well as promoting and mobilizing blood donation.

As a result, during the year, the city organized 9 blood donation campaigns, receiving 2,517 units of blood. Since the beginning of 2025, it has organized and received 914 units of blood, contributing to timely emergency and treatment work at medical facilities.

At the same time, the Red Cross Society at all levels of the city continued to effectively implement many humanitarian activities such as: organizing 7 Zero-dong Market sessions during the Humanitarian Month, supporting more than 760 people with a total value of more than 379 million VND; building Red Cross Houses, granting scholarships to students in difficult circumstances, organizing the program "Humanitarian Tet", "Each organization and individual is associated with a humanitarian address"...

Collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in humanitarian blood donation work are honored.

On this occasion, the city awarded medals for "For the cause of Humanity" to 6 individuals; commended many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the Red Cross movement in 2024; honored and commended 27 families and 175 individuals who donated blood voluntarily 5 times and 10 times.

At the same time, launch a response to Humanitarian Month 2025, contributing to spreading the spirit of humanity, building a united and affectionate community.
