(NLDO) - General Secretary To Lam lit incense sticks, respectfully commemorating the great contributions of former General Secretaries: Le Duan, Do Muoi, and Le Kha Phieu.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025 and the 95th anniversary of the Party's founding (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), on the afternoon of January 16, General Secretary To Lam visited and burned incense to commemorate former General Secretaries Le Duan, Do Muoi, and Le Kha Phieu at his private home.
Accompanying the General Secretary were: Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Party Central Committee Office Nguyen Duy Ngoc; leaders of the Party Central Committee Office and leaders of the General Secretary's Office.

General Secretary To Lam lit incense sticks, respectfully commemorating the great contributions of former General Secretaries Le Duan, Do Muoi, and Le Kha Phieu to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation; expressing deep gratitude to the predecessors who made many contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.
In the warm atmosphere of the days before the traditional Lunar New Year, General Secretary To Lam kindly asked about the living and working conditions of the families of former General Secretaries: Le Duan, Do Muoi, Le Kha Phieu; hoping that the families would continue to uphold their traditions, constantly strive to achieve many achievements in their work, and actively contribute to building the country.

Former General Secretary Le Duan was born on April 7, 1907, into a family with a tradition of patriotism and studiousness, in Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province. During 60 years of revolutionary activities, 26 consecutive years as First Secretary and General Secretary of the Party Central Committee (1960-1986), he devoted his whole life to the Party and the nation. He left behind an extremely valuable legacy, a shining example of a communist soldier, an outstanding student of President Ho Chi Minh.
Former General Secretary Do Muoi was born on February 2, 1917, in a poor peasant family in Thanh Tri district, Hanoi. He devoted his whole life to the glorious revolutionary cause of our Party and people. As a veteran revolutionary cadre, trained and matured through resistance wars, imprisonment and in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, he always maintained the will and qualities of a communist soldier, wholeheartedly serving the Fatherland and the people; constantly training, eager to learn, cultivating revolutionary ethics, improving knowledge, exploring, being creative, having a firm political stance, being sharp, decisive and acting resolutely in all tasks.

Former General Secretary Le Kha Phieu was born on December 27, 1931, in Dong Son district, Thanh Hoa province. He held many positions in the Army, held the position of Director of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army; and was elected General Secretary of the Party Central Committee at the 4th Central Conference (VIII term). In his position as General Secretary of the Party Central Committee (December 1997 - April 2001), he and the Central Committee, Politburo, and Secretariat led the entire Party, people, and army to achieve many great achievements in the cause of innovation, industrialization, modernization, construction, and defense of the Fatherland. Throughout his life of revolutionary activities, in any position, he always excellently fulfilled his important responsibilities before the Party, State, and people, always maintained the spirit and qualities of a communist, and was always devoted to the country and the people.
