General Secretary To Lam highly appreciated President Lee Jae Myung for sending a Special Envoy to Vietnam to convey the message immediately after taking office. This shows the importance he attaches to the relationship with Vietnam in particular and the Vietnam-Korea Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in general.

General Secretary To Lam believes that under the leadership of President Lee Jae Myung, Korea will continue to develop prosperously, its people will be happy, and its international role and position will be increasingly enhanced.

Special Envoy Park Chang Dal respectfully conveyed President Lee Jae Myung's warm regards to General Secretary To Lam and highly appreciated the strong development of Vietnam - Korea relations in all fields, especially since upgrading the relationship to Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Mr. Park Chang Dal emphasized that President Lee Jae Myung always considers Vietnam a leading important partner in implementing foreign policy in the region; hopes that the two sides will further increase high-level exchanges and contacts; promote economic , trade and investment cooperation to develop substantially, effectively and sustainably.

He suggested that Vietnam pay attention to and create favorable conditions for Korean enterprises to do business and expand investment in Vietnam, especially in the fields of nuclear power and strengthen cooperation to respond to changes in the international economic and trade environment.

General Secretary To Lam expressed his high agreement with the opinions of Special Envoy Park Chang Dal and affirmed the consistent policy of the Party and State of Vietnam to always attach importance to and wish to bring the cooperative relationship with the Republic of Korea to a new height, in a practical, effective and long-term manner.

The General Secretary suggested that both sides promote comprehensive, substantive and effective bilateral cooperation based on political trust between the two countries and close relations between businesses, localities and people of the two countries. In addition to traditional cooperation areas, the two sides need to strengthen cooperation in science and technology to create new momentum in bilateral relations; promote cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence (AI)...

Referring to international and regional issues, General Secretary To Lam suggested that the two sides continue to cooperate closely and support each other in multilateral international forums, in accordance with the interests of the people of the two countries, contributing to maintaining peace, stability and development in the region and the world.

Special Envoy Park Chang Dal affirmed that he will closely cooperate with Vietnam to successfully organize the APEC Summit 2025 in Korea and APEC 2027 in Vietnam.

Receiving Special Envoy Park Chang Dal, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that Vietnam consistently values its relations with the Republic of Korea and hopes that bilateral cooperation will continue to develop more substantially, effectively, richly and sustainably in the coming time.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his satisfaction with the achievements the two countries have made after more than 30 years of establishing diplomatic relations, especially after the two countries upgraded their relations, political trust has been continuously strengthened; the two countries have become each other's leading important partners in many fields.

The Prime Minister assessed that cooperation between the two countries still has much room for development and suggested that both sides continue to deepen political relations; promote economic relations, enhance people-to-people exchanges, tourism cooperation; encourage cooperation in science and technology and digital transformation.

At the same time, the Prime Minister proposed that Korea continue to support Vietnam in training high-quality human resources in the fields of semiconductors, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and management experience.

Special Envoy Park Chang Dal emphasized that Korea always considers Vietnam a key partner in implementing foreign policy in the region; and wishes to work with Vietnam to further promote the comprehensive strategic partnership.

He hopes that Vietnam will continue to create favorable conditions for Korean businesses and citizens living, studying and working in Vietnam.
