Ho Chi Minh City seeks parents' opinions on public schools

From now until May 7, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training will conduct a survey of parents of students in more than 120 high schools about their satisfaction with the quality of education in public schools.

Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training surveyed parents' opinions on school issues such as facilities, environment, activities, programs, results and access toeducational services.

In particular, the survey asked questions to assess parents' satisfaction with the English curriculum such as the school's teaching quality, whether the teachers' teaching methods are appropriate, whether the English program meets the needs...

In the content of educational access services, parents evaluate the level of satisfaction in the issues of providing enrollment information, admission procedures, school location, tuition fees, contributions according to school regulations, parent-teacher associations, etc.

Regarding the content of facilities, the questions of the Department of Education and Training in the survey form create conditions for parents to express their satisfaction with the issues of area, lighting, ventilation of classrooms, meeting the subject requirements of subject classrooms, multi-function rooms, equipment, teaching aids, conditions (computers, Internet, etc.) to meet the requirements of applying information technology and digital transformation in schools. In addition, parents' opinions are also surveyed about the library, specialized equipment, playgrounds, sports , green shade areas, toilets for students, etc.

With the criteria of educational environment, the Department of Education and Training asks parents for their opinions on the school's educational activities, teaching and assessment of learning and training results, relationships between students, communication between teachers and students, and school coordination with families in educating students...

The survey of parents' opinions on the above contents aims to implement the project to measure the quality of operations and provision of public services at educational institutions in 2025. The survey results will be sent to the Ministry of Education and Training to improve the quality of services in public schools.
