On November 5, the People's Committee of Long Nguyen Ward (Ben Cat City, former Binh Duong ), Ho Chi Minh City directed the authorities to investigate and clarify the incident in which dozens of female students surrounded and beat an 8th grade student in the restroom of An Dien Secondary School in the area.
According to initial verification results, the beaten student was taken to the hospital for treatment with multiple injuries and cracked ribs.

Also according to verification by the authorities, the incident occurred on October 31 in the female restroom area of An Dien Secondary School in Long Nguyen ward.
Then, on November 4, a student filmed the clip and posted it on social media. At this time, the school and authorities learned about the incident.
The family said that the student who was beaten at school felt pain all over his body when he came home, so his family took him to the hospital for treatment. His health is now stable, but he is still mentally confused and scared.

According to the content of the clip recorded for about 2 minutes, a group of about 10 female students (from many different classes) surrounded and beat up an 8th grade student in the restroom because this student had just transferred classes and the teachers had reminded the whole group, so the students dragged their friend into the restroom to beat him up.
Notably, dozens of female students beat the 8th grader with many actions such as slapping, kicking in the stomach, pulling her hair and pulling her head to the floor... and then swearing. During the incident, many male students witnessed and watched, but no one intervened.
