On the morning of September 19, at the 11th session (special session), the 10th term of the People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City, term 2021-2026, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City submitted a draft resolution regulating the content and level of expenditure for a number of health and population activities in Ho Chi Minh City in the period 2023-2025.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the issuance of the resolution aims to promote the achieved results of the Health - Population target program for the 2016-2020 period, continue to carry out tasks and professional contents in the coming period in disease prevention and control and public health; contribute to ensuring social security, security - defense and implementing international commitments.
At the same time, create a legal basis for units assigned to implement a number of medical and population activities in Ho Chi Minh City in the period of 2023 - 2025 in accordance with the provisions of law. Contribute to the successful implementation of the project on developing community health to protect, care for and improve the health of people in Ho Chi Minh City in the period of 2021 - 2030.

Estimated support for people who make bait and catch mosquitoes at night is 130,000 VND/person/night; Support for people who directly spray and apply chemicals to kill mosquitoes is 1.5 times the regional minimum wage (calculated per day) as prescribed by the Government as the regional minimum wage for workers working under labor contracts; Support for people who directly carry out environmental sanitation activities, kill mosquito larvae and pupae in households and during campaign campaigns (excluding household members).
Ho Chi Minh City plans to support editing of community media content with VND80,000/news, articles from 350 words to under 600 words; VND100,000/article from 600 words or more...
The total estimated budget for implementation in 2023 is more than 26 billion VND. The budget for implementing these regimes is guaranteed by the city budget and is arranged in the annual regular expenditure estimates for implementing units according to the provisions of the law on the state budget.
