Temporarily detained more than 5,000 cosmetic bottles at the store of Ngan Korea Cosmetics and Pharmaceutical Company Limited

More than 5,000 bottles of cosmetics labeled "Korean goods" have just been temporarily seized by authorities at a business establishment belonging to Ngan Korea Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Company Limited (Gia Lam district, Hanoi).

The above information was announced by the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) early this morning, June 1.

Accordingly, the total value of the listed goods is up to more than 2 billion VND.

Specifically, yesterday, May 31, Market Management Team No. 8 (Gia Lam District) coordinated with the Economic Police Department (PC03 - Hanoi City Police) to conduct a surprise inspection of a business establishment located in the premises of the old Yen Thuong Commune Kindergarten (Gia Lam District). This is the operating location of Ngan Korea Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Company Limited, headquartered in Lai Hoang Village, Yen Thuong Commune.

At the time of inspection, the authorities discovered 5,400 Dr. Melaxin brand skin care products (made in Korea) being stored, including: 2,520 bottles of "Peel Shot exfoliant rice" and 2,880 bottles of "black rice" (same capacity of 80ml/bottle).

This company could not present any documents proving the legal origin. The company representative admitted that the entire batch of goods was purchased illegally on the market and violated regulations by doing business at an unregistered location.
