On June 21, at Tan Son Nhat Golf Course (Go Vap District), Ho Chi Minh City held the 2nd Friendship Diplomatic Golf Tournament - 2025.
The tournament took place in the atmosphere towards the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnamese Diplomatic Service (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025), the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
This golf tournament also plays a practical role in promoting the golf movement, promoting and developing golf tourism, because Ho Chi Minh City is identified as the center for exploiting typical tourism products such as MICE tourism, weekend entertainment tourism, sports tourism, shopping tourism... In which golf tourism is an important specialized product, which will receive strong investment in the coming time.

The 2025 Diplomatic Friendship Golf Tournament attracted the participation of nearly 200 Vietnamese and international golfers, with the aim of strengthening friendship and enhancing exchanges between diplomatic agencies, international organizations, foreign business associations, departments and typical businesses of the city. This is also a playground for businesses to connect and seek opportunities for cooperation and investment, contributing to the economic development and integration of the city.
Golfers compete in 18 holes, with a Handicap scoring system. The organizers award 21 prizes, divided into 5 groups based on handicap, including the Friendship group (for diplomatic agencies/consulates), groups A, B, C and the women's group. Of which, there are 3 hole in one prizes with attractive prizes such as: a ginseng bottle of Sam Ngoc Linh Tumorong worth 2.3 billion or a set of Honma Tw767 clubs worth 100 million VND or a set of Fourteen clubs worth 130 million VND and other technical prizes.
