Paragliding experience in Bac Kan: Flying over the "converging source" of Song Cau

This is the second consecutive year that Kinh Bac Paragliding Company has been trusted by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Kan province to coordinate in organizing events, contributing to enriching adventure tourism products in the locality.

Pilots conduct meteorological surveys to prepare for the show and provide the best experience for visitors.

On the opening night of the Culture – Tourism Week with the theme “Song Cau – Where the source converges” taking place on the evening of April 25, the colorful paragliding performance attracted all eyes, creating a unique artistic space in the sky of Bac Kan city. The event not only opened the exciting week, but also created a visual highlight full of festival and discovery.

According to information from the service provider, the price for a paragliding experience is 1,990,000 VND/person/trip. Each flight lasts from 10 to 15 minutes, taking visitors around the city sky, opening up a panoramic view of majestic Bac Kan from an ideal height.

Ms. Vu Thi Thao, Deputy CEO of Kinh Bac Paragliding Company, said: “This year the weather is dry, creating favorable conditions for take-off. The floating stage on Song Cau River also brings a romantic and new space to enjoy art, while ensuring safety for pilots when performing. Currently, there are a total of 08 paragliders serving the flying experience needs of people and tourists.”

In particular, on April 26 and 27, visitors will have the opportunity to directly participate in paragliding, admiring the beauty of Bac Kan city from above. The take-off point is located at the Bac Kan Provincial Military Command, a convenient and safe location for flying activities.

Mr. Duong Anh Dung, a paragliding pilot from Hanoi, shared his feelings when participating in the performance flight and experience during the Bac Kan Culture - Tourism Week 2025.
