Bac Kan City People's Council held a special session in May

At the meeting, delegates listened to the contents of 01 report; 05 submissions of the City People's Committee and 05 draft resolutions including: Draft Resolution approving the local budget settlement in 2024; Draft Resolution adjusting and supplementing funding for units performing tasks (3rd time); Draft Resolution adjusting the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025 from local budget capital (13th time); Draft Resolution on allocating public investment plan in 2025 from local budget capital (4th time); Draft Resolution on allocating career funding to implement the National Target Program in 2025 (2nd time).

At the same time, delegates focused on studying, discussing, and contributing opinions to the contents presented at the meeting. With the spirit of urgent, serious, democratic, responsible and highly unified work, the Special Session in May 2025 of the 7th City People's Council completed all the contents of the proposed program with 05 Resolutions passed.

Accordingly, the 2024 budget settlement of Bac Kan city includes total state budget revenue in the area: 178,862.8 million VND; total local budget revenue: 540,725.8 million VND. Total local budget expenditure is: 538,162.4 million VND; local budget surplus: 2,563.4 million VND.

In addition to the resolutions on adjusting the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025 from local budget capital; Resolution on allocating the 2025 public investment plan from local budget capital and Resolution on allocating career funds to implement the National Target Program in 2025. The City People's Council has highly agreed on adjusting and supplementing funding for units performing tasks, including some additional funding such as funding to support extra teaching hours for teachers in the second semester of the 2024 - 2025 school year; Fee for appraising dossiers for granting certificates and Fee for granting certificates of land use rights for the land to build Huyen Tung Industrial Cluster...

Speaking at the closing session, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the City People's Council Trieu Thi Thu Hoai emphasized: "The Resolutions passed at the Session are important Resolutions, serving as a basis for organizing the implementation of tasks on socio-economic development. Based on the resolutions passed by the City People's Council, the City People's Committee immediately issued administrative decisions to concretize the Resolutions. At the same time, overcome difficulties, focus on leading and directing the synchronous and effective implementation of tasks and solutions; strengthen coordination, solidarity and unity in implementing the city's political tasks. Be proactive in accordance with the functions and tasks of each agency and unit, promote the highest responsibility of the head in directing and operating each specific task"./.
