At the conference, Lieutenant Colonel Le Thi Ai Ngoc, Head of the Provincial Police Women's Committee, the conference's reporter, conveyed practical knowledge in preventing child abuse and necessary rules to help children identify the risk of abuse, how to prevent it and speak up promptly. In particular, the "6 petals" rule helps children remember the safe limits of the body. At the same time, sharing and suggesting for children to discuss and interact about solutions to protect themselves. The communication content also mentioned related legal regulations such as the Law on Children, children's rights, prevention of child marriage, etc.
Previously, the Provincial Women's Union also organized communication sessions with similar content for 60 students who are members of the Leaders of Change Club of Chu Van An Secondary and High School (Xuan Lanh Commune, Dong Xuan District), Ea Trol Primary and Secondary School (Song Hinh District). Through that, it contributed to improving capacity, knowledge and skills to help students recognize the risk of abuse to prevent, respond to, avoid school violence, prevent child marriage, and eliminate backward customs in ethnic minority areas.
