Presented 4 houses to households in difficult circumstances

(CT) - On the afternoon of November 4, Vi Tan ward coordinated with functional units to organize a ceremony to hand over the project to build houses for people in difficult circumstances in Can Tho city. Mr. Tran Van Huyen, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee; Ms. Vo Thi My Trang, Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Council, attended.

Leaders of Can Tho City, leaders of Vi Tan ward and representatives of sponsors symbolically presented house keys to households.

There are 4 cases supported by the project to build new houses and repair houses this time, including the families: Mr. Dang Van Ghe in area 15, Vi Tan ward; Mrs. Le Thi Dieu Dao in area 5 and Mrs. Pham Thi Huong in area 13, Vi Thanh ward; Mr. Thai Van Hau in hamlet 5, Vinh Tuong commune. The total value of 4 houses is nearly 600 million VND, sponsored by the Vietnam Roofing Association, the Vietnamese Heart Fund - Vietnam Television and Dong Tam Joint Stock Company. The houses are built and repaired according to the 3 hard criteria (hard foundation, hard frame, hard roof).

Speaking at the house donation ceremony, Ms. Vo Thi My Trang affirmed that taking care of the lives of people in difficult circumstances is a major policy, demonstrating the responsibility and affection of the entire political system and society. The Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Council hopes that the families who received the houses this time will continue to strive to stabilize their lives.
