Each house is built with a corrugated iron roof, corrugated iron walls, and tiled floors, costing 45-50 million VND. Of which, the benefactor contributed 35 million VND, the rest was contributed by the ward Red Cross Society and the family to make the house more solid.

At the ceremony, representatives of the Ward Red Cross Association congratulated the families for having stable housing, and encouraged them to strive to overcome difficulties, work hard, and stabilize their lives. On this occasion, the Ward Red Cross Association mobilized to give each family gifts including rice, gas stoves, and cash, worth 2.2 million VND.

Previously, the Ward Red Cross Association had given Red Cross houses to 2 households with housing difficulties. The total value of the 5 Red Cross houses was 285 million VND, which the Ward Red Cross Association mobilized from benefactors to support the construction. This is a project that the Truong Lac Ward Red Cross Association registered to carry out to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

► On April 28, 2025, the Ninh Kieu District Women's Union held a handover ceremony of the House of Love to Ms. Lam Thi Nu, in Area 5, An Binh Ward, Ninh Kieu District. This is a project of the Ninh Kieu District Women's Union to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification. Comrade Tran Tien Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the Ninh Kieu District People's Council, attended.

The family of Ms. Lam Thi Nu, a member of the Women's Union, has difficult housing conditions. Ms. Nu's house is dilapidated and severely damaged, with a leaky metal roof, rotten wooden walls, and a low floor that floods during heavy rains, affecting the lives of the 6 family members. Ms. Nu sells lottery tickets every day, and her son works for hire with an unstable income, so the family has no money to repair the house.

The house was built at a total cost of 60 million VND, supported by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district. The construction of the house helped Ms. Nu’s family “settle down” and implement social security policies in the locality. At the house handover ceremony, representatives of the district and ward leaders and benefactors presented many gifts to congratulate Ms. Nu’s family on having a new house.
