Awarding the decision to appoint the Chairman and Director of the Tourism Development Support Fund

On September 17, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong chaired the ceremony to announce the decision to appoint the Chairman and Director of the Tourism Development Support Fund.

Attending the announcement ceremony were Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel Le Duc Trung, leaders of the Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts, and the Tourism Development Support Fund.

At the ceremony, representatives of the Department of Organization and Personnel announced the decisions on appointing officials.

Accordingly, in Decision No. 2698 dated September 16, 2024, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism decided to appoint Mr. Ha Kim Son, Director of the Tourism Development Support Fund, to hold the position of Chairman of the Tourism Development Support Fund.

In Decision No. 2699 dated September 16, 2024, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism decided to transfer and appoint Ms. Hoang Thi Kim Anh, Deputy Head of the Exhibition Department (Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts) to hold the position of Director of the Tourism Development Support Fund.

Deputy Minister Ho An Phong presented the decision to appoint Mr. Ha Kim Son, Director of the Tourism Development Support Fund, to the position of Chairman of the Tourism Development Support Fund.

After presenting these decisions to the newly appointed officials, Deputy Minister Ho An Phong congratulated the officials who had just been appointed to important positions of the Tourism Development Support Fund.

"The work of perfecting and consolidating the leadership of units is always a task that the Ministry's leaders pay attention to and closely direct. Especially with the Tourism Development Support Fund, a unit that was established not long ago, with a very new operating model. These decisions also demonstrate the trust and expectations of the Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for the newly appointed officials" - the Deputy Minister affirmed.

According to Deputy Minister Ho An Phong, the Fund was established with the desire to mobilize state resources and other resources to develop tourism. After its establishment, despite many efforts to support tourism development, because the Fund is a new model, its operations encountered many difficulties in the first years of establishment. Some activities, mechanisms, and policies need to be adjusted; the apparatus needs to be improved; and human resources need to be strengthened to meet the development needs of the industry.

Deputy Minister Ho An Phong expressed his confidence and suggested that after the reorganization, the Fund's apparatus will gradually become stronger, more united, effective, and efficient, gathering resources and enhancing the Ministry's role in tourism development in the coming time.

Deputy Minister Ho An Phong presented the decision to transfer and appoint Ms. Hoang Thi Kim Anh, Deputy Head of Exhibition Operations Department (Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts) to hold the position of Director of the Tourism Development Support Fund.

Assessing Mr. Ha Kim Son as a person with basic training and a lot of experience working in the fields of finance and accounting, Deputy Minister Ho An Phong suggested that the new Chairman of the Tourism Development Support Fund, Ha Kim Son, promote his capacity, qualifications and experience in leading and directing the activities of the Fund.

Promote the sense of responsibility and solidarity within the unit as the head of the Fund, overcome difficulties, complete tasks, and contribute to the development of the industry. At the same time, advise the Fund to have the best mechanism, operate and use the state budget effectively.

In her position as Director of the Fund, the Deputy Minister also expressed her expectation that Ms. Hoang Thi Kim Anh would humbly learn, promote her qualifications, capacity, and many years of experience in the culture, sports, and tourism sector, demonstrate responsibility, dare to commit, wholeheartedly devote herself to her work, and successfully complete the tasks assigned by the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.

The Deputy Minister requested that units under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism pay attention to and support newly appointed officials to fulfill their tasks, worthy of the trust of the Ministry's leaders.

At the ceremony, Mr. Ha Kim Son and Ms. Hoang Thi Kim Anh both expressed their gratitude for the support and facilitation of the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the past time. Affirming that this is a very new task, the newly appointed officials pledged to make efforts and try to promote their strengths, strengths and work experience, promote the spirit of internal solidarity, do a good job in professional work, and complete the tasks assigned by the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the coming time.

The newly appointed officials expressed their wish to continue receiving support and attention from the Ministry's leaders, units within the Ministry and relevant agencies to successfully complete their professional work, gradually overcome difficulties, consolidate a strong apparatus, and provide the best support for the development of the tourism industry./.
