- On the afternoon of November 5, the Department of Health held an online conference to deploy health examinations to select and call citizens to join the army and perform their duties to join the People's Public Security in 2026. The conference was connected to 10 regional medical center bridges.

Attending the conference were representatives of the Provincial Military Command, Provincial Police, Regional Defense Commands; and military service health examination councils at all levels.

According to the report on the results of the 2026 military service preliminary selection, the whole province issued medical examination orders for 7,478 citizens, of which 7,045 people came for medical examination, reaching a rate of 94.2%; of which 4,622 citizens met the health requirements, accounting for 65.8%. The preliminary selection work was carried out synchronously and in accordance with regulations.

Along with evaluating the results, the conference thoroughly grasped new regulations and guidelines on implementing health examinations to select, call citizens to join the army and perform their duties to join the People's Public Security in 2026, thereby helping health examination councils grasp the process, unify the classification, examination criteria, testing methods, diagnosis and reporting, and minimize errors during the implementation process at the grassroots level.

Concluding the conference, the leaders of the Department of Health requested the regional military service health examination councils to develop a scientific examination plan, arrange human resources and adequate equipment, follow the correct procedures, ensure biosafety and professional quality, and avoid errors in health classification. At the same time, closely coordinate with the Provincial Military Command and communes and wards to successfully complete the 2026 military recruitment work to ensure seriousness, objectivity, compliance with regulations, and high quality .
