Implementing a multi-purpose tillage machine model.

The Provincial Agricultural Extension Center is implementing a model to support the provision of multi-functional tillage machines to communes in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, in accordance with Decision 861/QD of the Prime Minister.

Accordingly, the model will be implemented in two districts, Song Hinh and Dong Xuan, with 10 participating households. Participating households must have production land located within the local planning area and have a minimum area for cultivating various crops. Upon participating, residents of Song Hinh district will receive 100% support for the cost of purchasing a multi-functional tillage machine; residents of Dong Xuan district will receive 70% support for the cost of purchasing a tillage machine; and all training and technical guidance on machine usage will be fully covered.

Reportedly, the total cost of implementing the model is nearly 270 million VND, of which the State provides 240 million VND in support. The implementation of this model will help people free up labor, reduce production costs, and contribute to promoting mechanization in farming.
