This exhibition displays 67 works of landscape, still life, portrait, natural beauty, country, family, love... Each author has his own color, his own writing style but all come together under the same silk material, to continue telling his story about people and life.

In this exhibition, artist Tran Thuc Quyen brings a window to tell the story of Hoi An. The main theme in this series of works comes from actual trips to Hoi An, where the artist was fascinated by the ancient, quiet beauty of the old town... And Ho Chi Minh City, where the artist lives, also appears in the paintings with a different nuance: dynamic, familiar but still containing inner silence.

Artist Nguyen Thi Do Quyen with works drawn from the heart of a mother, in her series of works, the immense love for the family, conveys the mother's dream that her children will grasp and master space, time and destiny... to realize their dreams, ambitions and ideals. In particular, with the traditional technique of combining double-sided silk dyeing with modern direct painting, the artist dyes on silk gentle, airy colors that are somewhat brilliant like the early morning sunlight, blooming flowers with the color of young leaves or the clear sky after the rain...

Artist Tieu Tan's works are a natural continuation of the art of writing and drawing, because besides lines and colors, she is also a journalist. Simple, familiar, and easy-to-feel things are expressed in her silk paintings through the themes of landscapes, daily life, and portraits. Each work is a slice of emotion, a true story.

Artist Luong Hien brings a series of works with the theme "Home Tradition" - a simple but profound concept, containing love, memories and spiritual values preserved and passed down through many generations.
Or painter Hoang Hong with his works bearing the love of the South, although he was not born and raised here, the South has become his second homeland. Through these small paintings, Hoang Hong wants to record his very own feelings about that land, about the vast fields with storks flying, about the rivers, about the simple and generous people.

With silk paintings, the lines seem to soften, every image becomes gentler and more humane. The view also becomes more tolerant and sympathetic. It is the gentleness, patience and sophistication of this material that makes silk a special means of expression rich in poetry and depth of thought.
In “Weaving Silk Colors”, silk is not only a material, but also plays the role of a storyteller, telling stories of life, people, homeland, and the heart… All are “woven” with subtle, smooth color transitions, and then stay long after the viewer has left.
