Mr. Hoang Thanh Lan - Deputy Director of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, Quang Nam branch, informed that the total policy credit capital as of June 20, 2025 reached more than VND 8,534 billion (an increase of more than VND 454 billion compared to the beginning of the year). The total loan turnover in the first 6 months of the year reached more than VND 1,558 billion with nearly 22,000 poor, near-poor and policy households receiving loans. The total debt collection turnover of the whole branch reached more than VND 1,117 billion (equal to 71.67% of loan turnover).

As of June 20, the total outstanding debt of policy credit programs reached over VND8,501 billion (an increase of over VND441 billion compared to the beginning of the year, a growth rate of 5.47%) with 141,014 customers with outstanding debt. The quality of policy credit continues to be stable. Total overdue debt and frozen debt as of June 20 accounted for only 0.17% of total outstanding debt. The whole province has 3 units that continue to have no overdue debt: Hoi An, Phuoc Son, Dong Giang.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan assessed that in the first 6 months of the year, the Social Policy Bank, Quang Nam branch, closely followed the resolutions of the Board of Directors, the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, and made efforts to excellently complete the assigned tasks. Policy credit capital was promptly disbursed to the right beneficiaries, meeting the capital needs for production and business of poor, near-poor and policy households. The growth of outstanding policy credit was ensured according to the plan assigned by the Central Government.

Policy credit capital has helped 836 poor, near-poor, and escaped-poverty households borrow capital to develop their family economy and stabilize their lives; created jobs for 3,500 workers; 190 workers went to work abroad for a limited period; created conditions for 730 student households to borrow capital to cover study expenses; 1,091 households borrowed capital to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses...

Regarding the implementation of policy credit activities in the last 6 months of the year, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan assigned the Social Policy Bank, Quang Nam branch to continue to coordinate with the People's Committees at the commune level, socio -political organizations to effectively carry out activities at 233 commune transaction points, and the activities of savings and loan groups.

While merging communes and wards, arranging suitable transaction locations ensures a network close to the people, serving them most conveniently; ensuring smooth, effective, efficient and sustainable credit policy activities.

The Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, Quang Nam branch, needs to strengthen internal control and inspection, focusing on inspection before, during and after lending; monitor to minimize errors; speed up the progress of applying information technology, digital transformation towards providing comprehensive policy credit services to customers.

On this occasion, the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, Quang Nam branch, commended the collective of Farmers' Association, Women's Association, Veterans Association, and Youth Union for their outstanding achievements in entrusting policy credit capital in the first 6 months of the year.
