Planting nearly 500 more coconut trees at Dong Ghe eco-zone

The Siamese coconut variety not only creates environmental landscapes, contributes to land improvement in the ecological tourism service planning area along the Dong Ghe river (Thach Ha commune, Ha Tinh city), but also creates economic value for the people.

On the morning of February 22, Ha Tinh City organized a campaign to plant additional trees in the planned ecological tourism service area along the river in Dong Ghe area. Military forces, youth union, and veterans will plant nearly 500 new coconut trees along the roads in the planned area.

The Siamese coconut variety not only creates green space and environmental landscape but also helps improve the soil and create high economic value, contributing to the goal of developing urban agriculture associated with eco-tourism of the city.

It is known that since the beginning of the year, Ha Tinh City has planted more than 5,000 coconut trees of various types in the agricultural ecological planning areas in the area such as: Thach Ha, Dai Nai, Dong Mon... Particularly in the riverside ecological tourism service planning area in Dong Ghe area, 3,000 trees have been planted.
