The draft documents of the 14th Party Congress emphasized that "breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation" will create an important premise for synchronous development of science, technology, and digital transformation in all fields, including healthcare. He proposed the need to institutionalize digital transformation in healthcare as a pillar in the national development strategy, "developing digital healthcare" in parallel with "digital economy" and "digital government", and the electronic health records of the entire population are important national data infrastructure. Doctor Huynh Huu Nhan said that in recent times, as a provincial hospital, the unit has met more than 90% of the medical examination and treatment needs of people in the province and neighboring areas; providing professional support to district and commune levels through training and technology transfer. With a scale of 930 beds but regularly receiving over 1,200 inpatients, the hospital always maintains its focus on serving the people, especially the poor, ethnic minorities and people in rural areas. The hospital is also a focal point for technology transfer to lower levels, contributing to reducing the load on upper levels and ensuring fairness in access to health services.

Dr. Huynh Huu Nhan expects that in the development orientation of the health system in the coming period, provincial hospitals will continue to play the role of "pillar" in the people's health care network, both as a high-tech specialized line and as a center for training, support and coordination of regional health care.
