“Bamboo grows by the temple” has a concise structure, only 4 short verses divided into two parts, the introduction and the chorus. Performing this new song, Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan shared: “The song has a folk melody of the Northern Delta region, close and rustic; the lyrics and melody are graceful and gentle, which Tan Nhan really likes. She sings songs with the Northern Delta's style, both gentle and charming”. Musician Nguyen Quang Long took the initiative to arrange the song with a vocal range suitable for Tan Nhan.
Musician Nguyen Quang Long said he wanted to dedicate the song “Bamboo grows beside the communal house” to women, hoping that each person will have a beautiful and lasting love like the image of bamboo growing beside the communal house in the Vietnamese countryside.
