This is the second consecutive time BUV has achieved this certification, affirming its position as an excellent international standard university for 6 consecutive years (2022-2028).
Demonstration of comprehensive quality
QS Stars is a global university quality rating system developed by QS (Quacquarelli Symonds). QS Stars evaluates the international quality standards of higher education institutions based on 9 groups of criteria with hundreds of rigorous appendices, covering all aspects of operation.

In the 2025-2028 assessment cycle, BUV achieved a total score of 818/1,000, exceeding the 5-star threshold of 700/1,000 by 118 points. In particular, BUV continued to maintain its outstanding level in the core criteria: Academic development reached 136/150 points, exceeding the 5-star threshold of QS by 31 points; Facilities reached 97/100 points, exceeding the threshold by 27 points; Employment opportunities reached 135/150 points, exceeding the threshold by 50 points; Good Governance reached 95/100 points, exceeding the threshold by 25 points.
Specifically, for the Teaching criterion, BUV demonstrated excellent teaching quality with a student satisfaction rate of 79.4%. The program completion rate reached 96% and the student retention rate after the first year reached 92%, reflecting a quality and transparent learning environment.
Corresponding to 263 hours of official study, BUV provides 440 hours of academic counseling and tutoring for students. On average, for each hour of official study, students will receive up to 1.67 hours of extra-curricular support, along with 100% of the training program using the digital learning management system - LMS, demonstrating a commitment to maximum support and convenience for students' learning.
In terms of employment opportunities, BUV graduates have a 99.3% employment rate, exceeding the QS maximum of 90%. The overall employment rate of 93.1% shows that students not only have jobs but also achieve positions that match their expertise. BUV's reputation with employers reached 96 nominations, double the maximum, demonstrating the prestige and quality of its students in the labor market.

In terms of academic development criteria, BUV has a high-quality teaching staff with 89% holding a doctorate, compared to the maximum threshold of 80% of QS and much higher than the domestic standard, which currently requires only 20%. 100% of BUV lecturers participate in professional development programs, reflecting the spirit of lifelong learning that has permeated the culture at the school.
BUV also spends 45% of its revenue on teaching activities, far exceeding the QS standard of 25%, demonstrating its priority on training quality.

In terms of facilities, the 6.5-hectare EDGE-certified green building campus not only impresses students, but is also an important factor in attracting international lecturers and academic partners. Many representatives of partner schools such as the University of London have commented that BUV is “the most beautiful school” in the entire partner system. BUV invests up to nearly 33,000 USD in average annual library costs per student, far exceeding the maximum threshold of 250 USD recommended by QS.
Every year, BUV spends nearly 27% of its revenue on scholarship funds, more than 13 times higher than the maximum threshold of 2% set by QS, demonstrating its commitment to social responsibility criteria. 1% of its annual revenue is allocated by BUV for community and charitable activities.
Expanding priorities
The Good Governance criterion is a new category in the 2025-2028 assessment cycle and BUV has achieved 5 stars. The university has completed 100% of the QS policy set, including 8 policies on sustainability and integrity. Staff satisfaction is 92.2%. BUV has student representation on the university council, more than 35% of the leadership is female, and the ethics committee meets monthly with public reporting.

Along with that, the criteria of diversity, equality and inclusion were also added by BUV, demonstrating the effort to create a fair and inclusive learning environment where all students have the opportunity to develop their full potential regardless of origin, gender or circumstances. BUV is assessed by QS to meet and exceed standards in all aspects of supporting members of the community, including people with disabilities, people with difficulty concentrating, gender balance, disadvantaged students, ethnic minority students, etc.
International integration is also a new priority in the next cycle, promising to turn the school into a truly global learning environment. BUV currently owns a network of more than 70 prestigious university partners in 17 countries on 5 continents; 10% international students and 81% international lecturers; 31 different nationalities in the learning community, creating a multicultural environment.
