Bac Lieu University newly established and renamed a series of faculties and departments

On August 30, Bac Lieu University held a conference to deploy decisions on organizational structure and staff.

Bac Lieu University has newly established 5 units including: Faculty of Social Sciences ; Department of Quality Assurance and Inspection; Department of Training Management and Student Affairs; Department of Training Linkage, Human Resource Development and Admissions; Department of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Career Consulting.

The school also changed the name of the Department of Science Management and International Cooperation to the Department of Science Management and Foreign Relations; the Information - Library Center to the Center for Information System Management and Library; the Faculty of Agriculture to the Faculty of Agriculture and Fisheries; the Faculty of Economics to the Faculty of Economics and Law; the Faculty of Information Technology to the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.

The school also has decisions regulating functions, tasks, job positions and appointing and assigning staff to be in charge of and managing the above units.

According to Dr. Phan Van Dan, Principal of Bac Lieu University, the implementation of decisions on organizational structure and personnel work this time is extremely important in implementing the school development project for the period 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030.

This change is with the desire to build a streamlined, professional, modern apparatus that operates effectively and efficiently, suitable to the practical situation, contributing to improving capacity, fields of operation, providing quality training services for Bac Lieu province in particular and Ca Mau peninsula in general.
