On the side of Cuu Long University, there were Distinguished Teacher, Associate Professor, Dr. Luong Minh Cu - Party Secretary, President of Cuu Long University; Dr. Dang Thi Ngoc Lan - Vice President; Master Nguyen Cao Dat - Senior Advisor to the Board of Directors and leaders of some affiliated units.
On behalf of the leaders of Cuu Long University, Distinguished Teacher, Associate Professor, Dr. Luong Minh Cu gave an overview of the school. Cuu Long University trains 39 undergraduate majors with 85 majors in 4 fields: Health Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities, Engineering - Technology, Economics - Finance. Currently, the training scale of the school is about 35,000 students. The strength of the school is training in the Health Sciences Block. Regarding international cooperation, the school has been cooperating with more than 200 institutes, universities, associations, enterprises, ... from countries and territories such as Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Canada, Germany, Australia, Cambodia, Laos, ... Associate Professor, Dr. Luong Minh Cu hopes that the working session with Shinawatra University will bring many good results, contributing to improving the training quality of Cuu Long University.
At the meeting, delegates discussed issues of mutual interest and potential implementation in the fields ofeducation, training and scientific research. Cuu Long University and Shinawatra University train in many similar fields such as: Health Sciences, Finance, Social Sciences and Humanities, Engineering and Technology... The two sides agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with the following contents: Academic cooperation, exchange of lecturers and students; Organizing joint professional development programs, conferences or seminars, focusing on specific areas of expertise or emerging trends in education; Research cooperation, establishing mechanisms for joint research projects; Establishing an online platform or resource center to share academic journals, publications, teaching materials and other related resources. Through the signing ceremony, it will open up opportunities for cooperation between the two units in the coming time, contributing to improving the quality of training and the reputation of the school.
Speaking at the meeting, Professor, Dr. Zhou Fei - President of Shinawatra University said: Through the school introduction video , as well as the introduction of the school's leaders, it is known that Cuu Long University has many international cooperation programs. Shinawatra University was established in 1999. With the vision of becoming a leading international university, Shinawatra University is committed to training graduates with strong leadership qualities, management skills and entrepreneurial spirit, along with ethical values and a sense of social responsibility. Currently, Shinawatra University has 8 faculties, 1 college and 1 Institute. In particular, the school has the largest Nursing Faculty in Thailand. The President of Shinawatra University expressed his desire to establish long-term cooperation with Cuu Long University in training, student exchange, cultural exchange, etc.
